Hikari is built to be simple. We keep the data needed to run it, and nothing you wouldn't expect.

What we store

Only data you create: your account, your saved anime and watch progress. Broadcast and serving data is provided by the third parties below.

GitHub and Google, used only to sign you in when you choose to.

Vercel hosts the site; Neon hosts the Postgres database that stores your list.

AniList for anime metadata, AnimeThemes.moe for opening and ending themes, and YouTube for trailers.

We only set a session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising, no analytics, no cross-site tracking.
