Haruna Saotome

She is a member of the Manga Research Club; while "Pal" is her pen name, it has effectively become her nickname, with some classmates even addressing her by it. She appears to go through a frantic "crunch time" every month to finish her manuscripts (enlisting the help of Yue Ayase and Nodoka Miyazaki as assistants during these periods); perhaps because of this, she lists "crunch time" as one of the things she likes. Although her specific genre is unknown, she possesses impressive artistic skill and draws very quickly—traits that prove highly advantageous when using her Artifact (Chisame Hasegawa, in fact, considers her speed to be the most astonishing aspect of her ability). She uses her right hand for drawing but tends to use her left hand when thinking or holding objects.
